Duties
• Manage family law litigation matters from initial consultation through final resolution.
• Represent clients in divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, alimony, and equitable distribution proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, separation agreements, pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements, and other family law documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda supporting litigation strategy.
• Represent clients during court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trial proceedings.
• Develop effective litigation strategies while protecting clients' legal and financial interests.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress, legal options, and litigation strategy.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Manage discovery, document review, witness preparation, and trial preparation.
• Maintain multiple active family law matters while ensuring compliance with court deadlines.
• Provide compassionate, practical, and strategic legal guidance to clients during sensitive family law matters.
• Stay informed regarding developments in Maryland and District of Columbia family law.

Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of family law practice experience.
• Active admission to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
