A law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney with 4–6 years of experience to join its growing real estate practice in Seattle, Washington. The position focuses on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development projects across multiple asset classes throughout the United States.
The successful attorney will advise institutional investors, developers, and private equity clients while managing transactions from initial due diligence through closing. Responsibilities include negotiating transaction documents, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and providing practical legal guidance on complex commercial real estate matters.
This role offers meaningful client interaction, exposure to diverse commercial transactions, and the opportunity to collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas in a hybrid work environment.

Duties
• Advise institutional investors, developers, and private equity clients on commercial real estate transactions.
• Structure and execute acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions involving multiple asset classes.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, and related transaction documents.
• Conduct and manage title, survey, zoning, and other real estate due diligence.
• Counsel clients on development projects from entitlement through project completion.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to support complex transactions.
• Assist clients with ongoing operational real estate matters, including lease amendments and tenant-related issues.

Requirements
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials.
• 4–6 years of commercial real estate experience at a nationally recognized law firm.
• Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and commercial leasing transactions.
• Admission to the bar in the state of the preferred office location or ability to become admitted promptly.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and written and verbal communication skills.
