A law firm seeks an experienced Associate for its Corporate Privacy and Cyber practice in Washington, D.C. The role involves advising clients on complex data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI issues in compliance and transactional matters.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on compliance with privacy, cyber, and AI laws.
- Negotiate privacy, security, and AI components in commercial agreements.
- Manage privacy and cybersecurity aspects of corporate transactions.
- Lead projects with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of privacy experience.
- Experience with product counseling and commercial contracts.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Aptitude for technology and understanding of AI technologies.
Preferred Skills
- CIPP certification preferred.
Pay range and compensation package
- Pay scale: $365000- $435000
