Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java middleware on Linux, system architecture, APIs, and service orchestration and a proven ability to deliver scalable backend services and align technical roadmaps with business objectives.
Key Details:
- Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week.
- Approved work locations: Charlotte, NC. Plano, TX. Jersey City, NJ.
- Role requires a specific start date due to business needs.
- Max bill rate: $91.41.

Responsibilities:
- Own and prioritize the middleware product backlog for Java services on Linux platforms.
- Define product roadmaps and translate business objectives into technical deliverables and user stories.
- Collaborate with engineering to design, build, and optimize scalable backend services and APIs.
- Oversee deployment, configuration, and performance tuning in RHEL and JBoss EAP environments.
- Champion automation of build, image, and infrastructure processes using scripting and tooling.
- Measure outcomes, manage risk, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- RHEL administration and Linux systems expertise.
- JBoss EAP configuration, deployment, and performance optimization.
- Shell scripting and Python for automation and operational tooling.
- Packer for image creation and environment standardization.
- Strong understanding of Java middleware architecture, APIs, and service orchestration.
Preferred Skills:
- Ansible and Terraform for configuration and infrastructure as code.
- Openshift for container orchestration and platform operations.
