Job Description

We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our team starting ASAP. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise Python development, financial risk/trading systems, and Oracle database engineering and a proven ability to deliver production-quality features within Agile teams and support complex cross-regional stakeholders. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Python solutions within Quartz for XVA risk and P&L reporting.
• Deliver features iteratively following Agile practices including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Translate user requirements from Trading, Quant, Finance, and Risk into production-quality code.
• Build and maintain RADAR XVA data reporting components and workflows.
• Write unit and integration tests, assist with UAT, and coordinate production deployments.
• Provide third-line production support, including root cause analysis and remediation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in New York and London and manage cross-time-zone communication.
• Partner with BAs and PMs to refine requirements, scope deliveries, and manage release plans.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across code quality, observability, performance, and developer tooling.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Expert-level Python for enterprise-scale systems, preferably within Quartz or similar platforms.
• 5 years of development experience in a financial firm covering front-to-back risk or trading systems.
• Oracle database development including PL/SQL, indexing strategies, and performance tuning for large datasets.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.
• Proven problem-solving and investigative mindset with ownership of outcomes.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with XVA, P&L attribution, or market/credit risk reporting frameworks.
• Background in Agile/Scrum delivery within distributed teams.

Interview Process

• Round 1: Webex with Senior Developer (1-2 interviewers).
• Round 2: Webex with Charlotte office Lead (1-2 interviewers).
• Round 3: Webex with Global Lead (1-2 interviewers).
