BCforward is hiring a CPD&D Laboratory Assistant to support laboratory and greenhouse operations with one of our top clients in Indianapolis, IN.

🔬 Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare media for research and operate lab equipment

• Sterilize glassware/equipment using autoclave

• Support plant material testing and greenhouse operations

• Prepare and handle inoculum under sterile conditions

• Safely handle chemicals including fungicides

• Maintain lab cleanliness, stock supplies, and housekeeping tasks

• Follow PPE and safety protocols including PAPR use

✅ Required Qualifications:

• Experience with aseptic / sterile lab techniques

• Handling fungal cultures or microbiology samples

• Knowledge of plant science or contamination prevention

• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

🎓 Preferred:

• Degree in Biology, Plant Pathology, or related field

• 1–2 years of relevant lab experience

• Greenhouse or growth room experience

🕒 Schedule:

Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• 2 hours one Saturday per month
