- 5–8 years of event management experience (financial services preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Portuguese and/or Spanish fluency mandatory
- Strong project management, negotiation, data and budget oversight skills
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities
- Highly detail-oriented; able to handle complex logistics and demanding stakeholders
- Comfortable working long hours, weekends, and traveling internationally
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute event strategies aligned with Private Bank business objectives
- Plan and deliver high-touch client events across LATAM markets, ensuring brand consistency
- Source venues, vendors, and manage cultural nuances across key Latin American cities
- Oversee budgets, data management, timelines, and operational logistics
- Collaborate with global events team, bankers, product partners, and senior management
- Identify and leverage cross-business opportunities to support client engagement
- Negotiate contracts to maximize budget efficiency
- Manage multiple events simultaneously under deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Provide regular updates and presentations to leadership
The VP Event Planner will lead high-touch client events for client managing end-to-end event strategy, planning, logistics, budgeting, and execution. The role requires 5–8 years of event management experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and fluency in Portuguese or Spanish. This person must be highly detail-oriented, strong in communication, data management, stakeholder coordination, and able to work long hours with frequent international travel. They will partner with bankers, senior leaders, and global event teams to deliver events that strengthen client relationships and support business goals.
