Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors as needed
- Empty trash and recycling bins and restock supplies
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management of low stock
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or unclogging sinks
- Ensure safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
- Respond to cleaning emergencies in a timely manner
- Secure facilities after hours if assigned to evening shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Basic understanding of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
