BBSI's client, a well-established, growing national firm who provides accounting and tax services to small to medium-sized businesses, is looking for a Tax Accountant in their Eugene, Oregon office. They will be responsible for the efficient and accurate preparation and review of tax returns. This role requires advanced technical expertise in tax and accounting fields.
Responsibilities and Duties Include:
- Preparing individual, partnership, corporate, non-profit, and estate and trust tax returns.
- Staying current with revisions in tax laws and regulations and inform clients and staff of pertinent updates.
- Providing clients with tax planning and tax saving strategies.
- Fostering enduring and robust connections with clients, serving as their main point of contact.
- Responding to client questions, issues and needs in a timely and courteous manner.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in preparing tax returns for businesses and individuals.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Enrolled Agent (EA), or Licensed Tax Consultant (LTC)
- Experience with QuickBooks and Lacerte
- Accounting and bookkeeping experience
Other Details:
- $75,000 per year starting pay.
- Monday thru Thursday with office closed on Friday during non-tax season.
