From hospitals and hotels to water districts, municipalities, and large-scale commercial facilities, this organization is trusted to design, deliver, and maintain reliable power solutions when failure is not an option.
As demand continues to grow, we are seeking a driven, relationship-focused Account Manager / Business Development professional to expand market share, strengthen client partnerships, and deliver tailored power solutions across Southern California.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive new business through strategic prospecting, cold outreach, and relationship development
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing and former clients
- Identify and connect with decision-makers across:
- Commercial facilities, Hotels & hospitality, Government agencies (Caltrans, water districts, municipalities)
Industrial sites & critical infrastructure
- Conduct site visits to assess client needs and recommend tailored solutions
Partner with internal teams to deliver:
- New generator sales
- Preventative maintenance contracts
- Service & repair solutions
- Educate clients on backup power strategies and long-term reliability planning
- Maintain a strong pipeline through CRM tracking, follow-ups, and market research
What You Bring
- Proven success in B2B sales, account management, or business development
- Experience in generator, electrical, mechanical, construction, or industrial services strongly preferred
- Understanding of Maintenance agreements / service contracts
- Technical or mechanical systems (generators, electrical equipment, etc.
- Confident in cold calling, prospecting, and closing new business
- Strong ability to identify and engage decision-makers
- Self-starter mindset with a true “go-getter” mentality
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
