The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and moving raw materials and finished goods. You will help ensure materials are handled safely, accurately, and in compliance with food safety and quality standards.
This role plays a key part in supporting production by ensuring materials are available, organized, and properly managed at all times.
Core Responsibilities
Material Handling & Inventory: Maintain accuracy and organization.
- Receive, inspect, and store raw materials and packaging supplies
- Move materials to and from production areas as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies
- Follow proper stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out)
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
- Stage materials and finished goods for shipment or production use
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (as trained)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe warehouse environment
- Follow GMP, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Supply production lines with required materials to maintain workflow
- Communicate material needs, shortages, and issues clearly to warehouse leads, supervisors, and production teams
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory checks
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred (food industry a plus)
- Forklift experience or willingness to be trained
- Ability to follow GMP and food safety requirements
- Basic math and communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; heavier lifting with assistance as needed
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work in varying temperatures typical of a food manufacturing environment
- Food manufacturing and warehouse environment with strict adherence to GMP and food safety standards
- PPE required when entering production areas (hair nets, beard nets if applicable, gloves, etc.)
- Exposure to production equipment, forklifts, and noise
- Work may involve varying temperatures, including temperature-controlled or cold storage areas
- Movement between office, production, and warehouse areas as needed
- Adherence to food safety policies, including restrictions on jewelry, artificial nails, and similar items in production areas
- Smoke-free campus; no smoking permitted on company property
