Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services to our residents!
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice under the direction of the Occupational therapist.
- Conduct screening of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment as allowed by state practice act, company policy, and under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
- Assist the Occupational therapist in the evaluation of residents as directed.
- Assist the Occupational Therapist with the development of treatment plans as directed.
- Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with the Occupational therapist and other team members.
- Conduct treatment according to the established treatment plan.
- Monitor resident's response to intervention and discuss adaption of treatment.
- Participate in discharge planning.
- Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as Occupational therapy Assistant in practicing states(s)
- Assume responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
