What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook - Part Time position at Bayfield County?
JOB Serve as food service assistant for the Bayfield County Jail. Prepare food for inmates. This position will be scheduled 20 hours per week. Some weekends and holidays will be required. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES a. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, storage areas and walk-in coolers.
b. Prepare meals as identified by the menu plan and for the special needs inmate population.
c. Maintain records of kitchen operations.
d. Assist Lead Cook in ordering food service supplies from vendors. Maintain adequate supply level. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Knowledgeable in quantity food preparation.
Ability to effectively work with Sheriff's Department Management and Lead Cook for the efficient operation of the jail food service.
Must have strong organizational skills.
