Part-Time Direct Support Professional in Gambrills, MD (25hrs)

**Job Summary:**
Bay-CSS is looking for a dedicated Part-Time Direct Support Professional to join our team in Gambrills, MD. The position involves providing compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This part-time role requires working Monday to Friday from 4 pm to 9 pm, with a pay rate of $21 per hour.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Provide assistance with daily activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
2. Implement individualized care plans and offer emotional support to those under your care.
3. Accompany individuals to appointments, outings, and community activities.
4. Maintain accurate documentation of individual progress and any incidents.
5. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for the individuals you support.
6. Attend all required trainings within the specified time frame.

**Qualifications:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification is a plus.
2. Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
4. Compassionate, patient, and understanding approach towards individuals with disabilities.
5. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, car insurance, and be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
6. Successful completion of a background check is required.

**Schedule:**
This is a part-time position with shifts from 4 pm to 9 pm, Monday to Friday, totaling approximately 25 hours per week. The role may also involve occasional weekend shifts and attendance at required trainings.
