The role requires working Monday 2pm-10pm, Thursday and Friday 10pm-8am, and Saturday 10pm-8am.

Bay-CSS is looking for a compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team in Waldorf, MD, to provide dedicated care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting during specific shifts. The role requires working Monday 2pm-10pm, Thursday and Friday 10pm-8am, and Saturday 10pm-8am.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including grooming, bathing, and dressing.
- Support individuals with meal preparation, medication administration, and other daily living activities per their care plans.
- Encourage residents to engage in community activities and social interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
- Document and report any changes in residents' health or behavior promptly.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being and safety of residents.
- Uphold residents' rights and dignity at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in caregiving or supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with residents and team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and work effectively in a team.
- Completion of all required trainings.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance required.
- Hourly rate of $21 Monday to Friday.
- Additional $2 weekend shift differential for Saturday and Sunday shifts.
