Unit Clerk II - Skilled Nursing - Full-time - Day

Be the heart of our nursing unit. BRGMC is looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Unit Clerk to support the daily operations of our dynamic nursing team. As a key member of the healthcare team, you’ll help ensure smooth communication, accurate documentation, and an organized care environment for patients, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact at the nursing station

• Manage phone calls, patient charts, and electronic medical records

• Schedule tests, procedures, and transportation as needed

• Support nursing staff with non-clinical administrative tasks

• Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality care

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous clerical or healthcare experience preferred

• Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital systems is a plus

• Strong computer and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
