What You Will Do: Job Purpose or Mission:

To analyze and follow up outstanding account balances and establish acceptable payment arrangements.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform status checks on claims submitted to payers with no response after 45 days, including checking payer websites, contacting payers by phone, and documenting actions.

• Process hard copy claims for payment, obtain EOBs for coordination of coverage, review claims for guidelines, and refer issues to management.

• Maintain practice responses to communications, create/respond to RAI or spreadsheets, monitor responses, and escalate issues.

• Handle special projects, resolve “unable to bill” claims, investigate reports, and monitor denials.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.
