District Assessment Coordinator/Instructional Supervisor

Reports To: Superintendent
Responsibilities:
District Assessment Coordinator, Instructional Supervisor, Career and Technical Education Coordinator, Extended School Services Coordinator, Non-Academic Data
Job Duties;
- District Wide Testing
- District School Report Card Coordinator
- Career and Technical Education Coordinator
- Extended School Services Coordinator
- Non-Academic Data Collection
- Coordinates and works closely with Building Assessment Coordinators (BAC’s)
- Survey and Data Collection on Language Instruction and Assessment of Limited English Proficient Students
- Informs leadership of the status of instructional programs, seeks resources, and prepares and administers budgets as appropriate
- Organizes, conducts, and evaluates curriculum development and assists others in evaluation, selecting, and using instructional resources
- Plans for, conducts, coordinates, and evaluates professional development activities designed to meet identified group needs
- Assists principals in the planning and implementation of effective programs of supervision and evaluation.
- Designs, recommends, carries out educational initiatives; disseminates and interprets the results to administrators, teachers, and parents as appropriate.
- Supervises and coordinates the work of curriculum resource consultants.
- Coordinates and leads PLC’s
- Assists instructional personnel in identifying staff development needs
- Visits and assists individual instructional personnel
- Maintains a rapport of trust and openness with all personnel
- Provides direction to school personnel for their continued growth, secures resources for professional development/in-service activities, and serves as a liaison between the school system and other agencies
- Conducts assessment activities to determine needs and effectiveness of school programs, organizes and disseminates information, and provides support
- Promotes good rapport, understanding, and support between school and community persons
- Responsible for the District Comprehensive Improvement Plan
- Responsible for the verification of certification of all certified staff in the district
- Assumes other responsibilities as assigned the Superintendent
Term of Service:
Commensurate with rank and experience; Certified salary schedule and Administrative salary schedule.
Evaluation: Performance of the job will be evaluated yearly by the Superintendent/Designee
