Licensed Massage Therapist w/ Weekend Availabilty

Starting Pay

We start out at a 40%(Therapist)/60%(BMC) plus 100% of tips split and upon performance increase to a 50%/50% split plus 100% of tips.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate therapy plans based on physiology knowledge and client feedback.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and ensure comfort throughout sessions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments performed, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information.
• Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend follow-up treatments or lifestyle adjustments for ongoing wellness.
• Promote a welcoming atmosphere by delivering outstanding customer service and fostering positive client relationships.
• Provide exceptional customer service from intake to closeout with clients. Must be able to use POS system to collect payments and re-schedule client appointments.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in CPR.
• Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client consultation and education.
• Ability to work weekends consistently and maintain flexible scheduling to accommodate client availability.
• Prior experience with pain management techniques and understanding of medical terminology is highly desirable.
• Commitment to professional growth through ongoing education in areas such as sports therapy or advanced massage modalities is a plus.

Pay: $52.00 - $70.00 per hour
