What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder position at Bastian Solutions?
Join the Bastian Solutions Robotics team as a Welder and work on a variety of projects by welding/fitting, fabrication, assembly, and painting of projects as well as general repair and maintenance of Bastian Solutions shop equipment. A Welder for Bastian Solutions will be responsible for general welding/fitting producing weldments for material equipment projects. A Welder I will be responsible for maintaining tolerances and dimensions specified by individual print.

Shift
- 1st Shift (Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm)
- Ability to build high quality welded parts from blueprints with low rejection rate. **Must maintain tolerances detailed on blueprints.
- Works from sketches/drawings to produce parts from Sheetmetal, plate, bar stock, and aluminum.
- Keep workspace in a neat and organized order
- Show mutual respect for coworkers

- Maintain a positive attitude
- Overtime required when necessary
- Follow safety protocols per JSA (Job Safety Analysis)
- Owns own hand tools to perform fabrication tasks (list will be provided)
- General knowledge of fabrication equipment including horizonal saws, lathes, mills, & drill presses
- Onsite weld test given prior to employment to establish skill set.
- High School Diploma or GED / Trade School
- Minimum 1 year of welding experience required
- Ability to life 50-75 pounds
