Work Environment & Schedule

• Non-climate-controlled environment; conditions may be dirty
• Shifts:
  • Monday–Thursday: 5:00 AM–3:30 PM or 3:00 PM–1:30 AM
  • Weekend: 5:00 AM–5:30 PM (Work 36 hours, paid for 40)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality steel products. This role involves weld preparation, execution, and finishing operations in accordance with customer specifications. You will also repair submerged arc weld seams on steel pipes using specialized equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding and finishing operations to meet quality standards
• Repair discontinuities in submerged arc weld seams
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and drawings
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment
• Use precision measuring instruments for inspection
• Perform grinding using manual and power tools
• Adhere to safety and housekeeping standards
• Complete additional duties as assigned

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in assigned welding techniques
• Knowledge of weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
• Experience with conventional and precision measuring tools
• Ability to use mobile device applications
• Minimum of 1 year welding experience

Additional Qualifications:

• Successful completion of internal welding test
• Experience in MIG, flux core, and dual shield welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Charles, MO.

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $49920.00/yr.
