What You'll Do
- Prepare civil site design plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway layouts
- Support public works and site development projects from concept through construction
- Perform engineering calculations and prepare technical reports and specifications
- Develop construction documents and drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Coordinate with surveyors, structural engineers, clients, and permitting agencies
- Conduct site visits and support construction-phase services as needed
- Help ensure designs meet applicable codes, regulations, and quality standards
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- EIT or Engineer-in-Training certification, or progress toward your PE
- 2 years of civil engineering experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D and standard engineering software
- Strong knowledge of civil design principles, grading, drainage, and utilities
- Clear written and verbal communication and solid attention to detail
- Ability to work on-site at our Metairie, LA office
