Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented person to join our team in the position of Loan Associate. In this role, you will originate the credit application, process the credit request and then process and close the loan. We are a small loan finance company who offers direct consumer loans and retail financing for our customers. Some telephone collections is a required part of the position. The successful candidate should be reliable and punctual to be in the office on time. Should have reliable transportation. Willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist consumers with loan applications, guiding them through the documentation process and explaining the terms of the loan.
- Review and verify loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct credit analysis by evaluating financial information to determine borrower eligibility and risk factors.
- Maintain accurate records of all consumer loans and work out past due payment arrangements with overdue customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers in person, by telephone and written correspondence.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally both internally and externally.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for credit budgeting and balancing cash drawer at end of the day.
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
