WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the full sales cycle including prospecting, qualification, discovery, demos, pilots, negotiation, and close
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline across SMB, mid-market, and or enterprise accounts
- Execute outbound prospecting sequences to generate new opportunities
- Lead discovery conversations to deeply understand customer pain points and align Baselayer’s solutions
- Run high-quality product demos and manage customer trials or pilots
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to share customer feedback and influence roadmap decisions
- Collaborate with GTM leadership to refine positioning, messaging, and sales motions
- Represent Baselayer with professionalism, credibility, and thought leadership in the market
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 2 to 4 or more years of experience in SaaS sales, fintech, financial services, or a highly analytical GTM role
- A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Experience running complex, consultative sales cycles with technical or analytical buyers
- Strong discovery, storytelling, and objection-handling skills
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and rapidly evolving environments
- A proactive, self-directed mindset where you create momentum rather than wait for direction

WORK LOCATION
- Based in NY; Hybrid - 4 days a week in office.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission (if applicable), equity and benefits. The pay range shown on each job posting is the minimum and maximum target for new-hire salaries. Actual pay may be higher or lower depending on factors like skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
