Bartlesville Assisted Living is looking to hire a 7am - 7pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday LPN.
This position is located in Bartlesville, OK. Pay is based on experience.

Qualifications
· Current Oklahoma State LPN license is required
· Prior experience with nursing services in assisted living and familiarity with Assisted Living Regulations preferred
· Specialty training on modified fundamentals of care giving mental health and dementia training
· Current CPR training required
· Strong organizational skills
· Patience, poise, and dignity in an emergence or crisis situation
· Able to keep on tasks and projects
· Able to work in close cooperation with professional and non-professional staff members
· Able to maintain confidentiality
· Able to make independent decisions
· Able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
· Able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset and, at times, hostile people
· Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs
· Available to work on weekends
· Regular, dependable and reliable attendance
· Participate in on-call rotation
· Must be able to perform physical activity, which related to patient care
Duties and Responsibilities
1. All care services will be provided in accordance with:
a. Oklahoma State Assisted Living Regulations/Rules
b. Standards of Nursing Practice
c. Residents Bill of Rights
d. Employee Handbook Policies
e. HIPAA Compliance
f. Assisted Living Policy and Procedures
g. Assisted Living Mission and Values
2. Process admissions/transfer/discharges.
3. Welcome residents and oversee brief orientation to surroundings.
4. Complete transfer and discharge paperwork as appropriate.
5. Complete resident assessment instruments.
6. Ensure Care Plans are being followed and updated as appropriate.
7. Give and take shift reports in a timely manner.
8. Ensure direct care staff is performing rounds and supervise care provided based on the interdisciplinary plan.
9. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the attending physician.
10. Maintain proper surveillance of medications and records for controlled drugs.
11. Follow guidelines on drug destruction, storage and administration.
12. Perform skilled nursing procedures, i.e. assessment of skin, administration of insulin, dressing changes, etc…
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Clean and sanitary assisted living center. Exposure to chemicals and sharp objects. Some lifting/pushing/pulling required.
