Bartlesville Assisted Living is looking to hire experienced, friendly, qualified Nurse aides to assist our residents!
6am - 2pm & Weekend Doubles Available
Pay is based upon years of experience
Pay period attendance bonus offered
Medical, vision, dental, and life insurance offered to full time employees after a waiting period
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Bathing and dressing patients
- Taking vital signs
- Collecting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, and doctors.
- Answering patient calls
- Examining patients for bruises and other injuries/wounds
- Turning or repositioning bedridden patients
- Lifting patients into beds, wheelchairs, or tables
- Cleaning and sanitizing patient areas
- Provide and empty bedpans
- Changing sheets and restocking rooms with necessary supplies
- Bathing and dressing patients
Experience Requirements:
- Certified by the state as a Nurse Aide.
- Successful completion of a nurse aide course that meets federal/state requirements.
- Successful completion of the written competency exam and the skills demonstration evaluation required for home health aide certification by the agency.
- Takes oral and written instruction well.
- Works in a team responsibly and independently without direct supervision.
- Record observations and activities as well as good communication skills.
EDUCATION:
- Current and valid Nursing Aide certification
- Current CPR Certification
- Previous experience preferred but not required
