Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items according to restaurant standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS system for order processing and transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as serving, food prep, and customer assistance.
• Uphold the restaurant’s standards for quick service in a fast-food environment while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or a quick-service restaurant is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during high-volume periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment within a restaurant setting.
