Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Handle food preparation tasks including slicing, dicing, and assembling ingredients with precision and care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety standards are met
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, knives, and other cooking tools
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors or toppings to keep offerings exciting
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to health regulations and safety guidelines
- Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of pizza and related dishes
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a food service environment, especially in pizza making or similar culinary roles
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices
- Experience with dietary department standards and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus
- Skilled in knife handling, meal preparation, and food presentation for fine dining or casual settings
- Familiarity with menu planning, food handling protocols, and catering operations
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
