and reliable Special Events Assistant to support our Development team.
This is a hands-on, hospitality-focused role centered on donor and
patron experience, including working in the Patron Lounge, assisting
with parking logistics, and supporting on-site events and receptions.
The Special Events Assistant works both front-of-house and behind the
scenes to help ensure that donors, business partners, and patrons feel
welcomed, cared for, and appreciated throughout their experience at all
BSC events and activities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys
working with people, thrives in an active environment, and has an
interest in theatre, events, or nonprofit fundraising. Primary
Responsibilities: Patron Lounge & Front of House Support - Set up, host,
and break down the Patron Lounge during performances - Greet and engage
donors, board members, and VIP patrons in a warm, professional manner -
Assist with light food and beverage service pre-show and/or during
intermission - Ensure the lounge is clean, organized, and welcoming
before and after each performance Events & Receptions Assist with
set-up, execution, and strike for special events, including: - Opening
night donor parties - Receptions - Gala-related support - On-site
support at dinners, parties, and donor gatherings - Assist with event
clean-up and post-event wrap-up - Other event-related tasks as assigned
to support the Development team Parking Support - Assist with and direct
VIP donor parking on select performance and event nights - Help manage
arrival flow and answer patron questions as needed Requirements: -
