With Experience JOB OVERVIEW The Carpenter/Welder Is Responsible For
constructing and welding various set pieces and structures. This role
involves interpreting blueprints, cutting and welding metal, and
assembling set components. This position requires a skilled individual
with extensive knowledge of carpentry, welding, and metalwork.
REQUIREMENTS - Construct and weld various set pieces and structures. -
Interpret blueprints, cut and weld metal, and assemble set components. -
Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required
specifications. - Collaborate with other team members to meet project
deadlines and assist during load-ins and load-outs as needed. - Adhere
to all safety protocols to prevent accidents. - Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS - Proficiency In Welding Techniques And Metal
fabrication. - Proficiency in various carpentry techniques and tools. -
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. -
Experience with various welding equipment and safety gear. - Experience
with theatrical set construction and assembly. - Strong attention to
detail and commitment to quality. - Knowledge of safety protocols and
best practices. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team -
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs - Must be willing to work
with students and volunteers - Reliable transportation and/or a valid
driver\'s license is preferred - Ability to drive a 26\' box truck is
