Berkshires, is seeking an Audio Engineer for our St. Germain Stage to join our team in Pittsfield, MA.

JOB OVERVIEW
The St. Germain Audio Engineer ensures high-quality sound for all performances in the St. Germain
Stage venue. This role combines live mixing with the technical maintenance of the venue’s sound and
communication systems.
REQUIREMENTS
● Program and operate digital mixing consoles for plays and small-scale musicals.
● Execute pre-show audio/comms checks and post-show shutdown procedures.
● Install and maintain venue-specific communications, paging, and monitoring systems.
● Aid in the construction of show-specific items like speaker stands or set masking.
● Maintain the organization of the venue’s audio shop and mixing area.
● Assist in maintaining and updating audio inventories for the venue.
● Other duties as assigned by Production Management.
QUALIFICATIONS

● [Proven experience in theatrical live sound mixing and system troubleshooting.
● Proficiency with digital mixing consoles, Qlab, and Dante.
● Must be comfortable working with students and volunteers.
● Ability to lift 50 lbs and work comfortably at heights.
● Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are preferred
