- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certifications are a plus)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, with 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Experience recruiting in the mortgage, financial services, or real estate industries strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR compliance, and recruiting best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-growth, high-performance environment
- A passion for building strong teams and creating a best-in-class candidate experience
- Lead and manage full-cycle recruitment efforts across multiple departments, including mortgage operations, sales, compliance, and support
- Partner closely with department heads and executive leadership to forecast hiring needs and align talent strategies with business growth
- Develop and implement scalable sourcing strategies to attract top talent across local and national markets
- Enhance and manage Barrett Financial’s employer brand across digital platforms, job boards, and social media
- Oversee and optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment workflows
- Track and analyze hiring metrics to assess recruitment performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure all recruitment processes comply with federal, state, and industry-specific regulations
- Foster a strong candidate experience from first interaction through onboarding
- Coach and support hiring managers on interview best practices, candidate evaluation, and retention strategies
- Collaborate on broader HR initiatives including onboarding, internal mobility, and employee retention
