Job Overview
Seeking a reliable and motivated Production/Sanitation Team Member to support operations in our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for operating equipment, maintaining product quality, and ensuring sanitation standards are met throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with production line activities from startup to shutdown
- Monitor production lines and remove defective products
- Load and transfer items on automated conveyors
- Operate, clean, and maintain production equipment
- Perform sanitation duties including cleaning machinery and facility areas
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow all safety procedures
- Use tools such as pressure washers, squeegees, and other cleaning equipment
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed
- Remove waste and maintain clean work areas (floors, drains, etc.)
- Complete required production and sanitation documentation accurately
- Follow all company policies, including safety, GMPs, and food safety standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Previous food manufacturing experience is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements & Work Environment Schedule
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in varying environments (hot, cold, wet, humid, and noisy conditions)
- Exposure to moving machinery and slippery surfaces
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
Schedule
- Monday - Thursday
- 5am to 3pm
