About the Role

As the Concrete Foreman, you will lead day-to-day field operations on commercial and public works projects. You’ll oversee crews, coordinate job site activities, and ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.

Duties:

· Lead and supervise concrete construction projects from start to finish

· Oversee commercial and public works concrete projects across LA County

· Manage ADA-compliant work including sidewalks, ramps, and flatwork

· Execute and oversee curb & gutter installation, forming, pouring, and finishing

· Supervise, train, and motivate crews (5–10 workers)

· Ensure job site safety, quality control, and productivity standards are consistently met

· Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and layout drawings

· Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and city officials

· Track daily progress, materials, equipment, and labor needs

· Operate construction equipment as needed to support field operations

· Troubleshoot field challenges and adjust plans to keep projects on schedule

Qualifications / Requirements:

· 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial concrete construction

· Proven experience leading crews as a Foreman or Lead

· Bilingual in English/Spanish is a must

· Strong background in public works and municipal concrete standards

· Experience with ADA compliance, sidewalks, curb & gutter, and flatwork

· Ability to operate construction equipment (skid steer, etc.)

· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to manage schedules, crews, and job site logistics effectively
