The Barren River District Health Department is seeking a Full-Time Community Health Liaison to be based at the District office in Warren County and work on the Strategy, Quality, and Communications Team. This position will serve as a strategic and marketing representative of BRDHD throughout the communities it serves, helping to elevate public awareness of BRDHD’s unified mission, values, and services. The Liaison will focus on building trust, fostering strong relationships, and enhancing BRDHD’s presence through strategic outreach and community partnerships, promoting the BRDHD's services as a whole.
Responsibilities:
- Representing BRDHD at community events, meetings, and public forums that align with district-wide initiatives
- Developing and implementing outreach strategies that promote BRDHD’s services and identity as a unified public health entity
- Internal collaboration to ensure consistent messaging and branding
- Assisting in grant applications and grant projects, and evaluation efforts to measure the impact of outreach and marketing activities.
- In collaboration with branch managers, this position will also coordinate strategic placement of the mobile health unit to support visibility goals across the district.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree, but preference will be given to those with a major in Public Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Health Science, or other related areas.
- Travel will be required to other counties as needed.
- Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
The minimum hourly rate is $18.07.
Base Pay: From $18.07 per hour
