What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer IT Assistant position at Barre Unified Union School District?

The Barre Unified Union School District is seeking an IT Assistant to support our IT teams this summer. The Summer IT Assistant provides support for day-to-day technology operations within the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with computer setup and maintenance
  • Supporting technology staff
  • Maintaining inventory of technology equipment
  • Updating documentation
  • Assisting with technology projects as assigned by IT Specialists

Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, basic knowledge of computer systems and software, effective communication abilities, and a willingness to learn new technologies. This seasonal position offers hands-on experience in information technology and customer support.
