What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Barona Resort & Casino?
OBJECTIVE:
Monitors radio transmissions and dispatches and tracks the whereabouts of all personnel needed to ensure efficient Casino operations.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in an office setting. Long periods of sitting, temperature controlled.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Always be NICE to fellow staff and players/ find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting
- Maintains database of malfunctioning slot machines.
- Dispatches and tracks the whereabouts of slot technicians, security floor, and maintenance personnel.
- Maintains batteries and radios for other department personnel.
- Logs and tracks the radio records.
- Monitors the Casinos Slot Data System.
- Issues machine paper to floor personnel.
- Maintains the serial number information.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have knowledge of dispatching functions, 10 codes, and casinos layout and functions
Good broadcasting and speaking skills
Written communication, computer and public relations skills
Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and follow oral or written instructions
Ability to handle several communications at one time
Ability to sit for long periods of time
REQUIRED EDUCATION:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
2 years radio transmission and or dispatch experience
