Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our real estate legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial real estate, drafting and reviewing leases and contracts, managing closings, title reviews, and coordinating with clients and other parties. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to our attorneys. This position requires 8 years of real estate related paralegal experience.
Duties
- Provide assistance with all phases of commercial real estate transactions, from acquisitions and dispositions to financing and development.
- Draft legal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, deeds, leases, loan agreements, closing documents, and transactional paperwork.
- Perform due diligence, including title and survey reviews, zoning research, and reviewing organizational documents to ensure legal and financial compliance.
- Conduct research on real estate property records, legal matters, and financial or tax information related to commercial properties.
- Key communication contact with clients and additional parties involved.
- File and record management.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience in commercial real estate transactions, with a minimum of 8 years.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Westlaw, time and billing, and document management systems.
- Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling phone communications with professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members on project management tasks related to ongoing cases.
Experience
Candidates should have prior paralegal experience in a law office setting. Proficiency in proofreading is also required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail while maintaining effective communication both verbally and in writing.
