Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our facilities and manufacturing processes. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections across various systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance of equipment and infrastructure.
Duties
- Disassemble, reassemble, and evaluate equipment operations.
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Install various machinery, tanks, pumps, and processing equipment as required.
- Size and determine proper fits of keys, shafts, bearings, etc.
- Thread, install & fit black iron, stainless steel piping, tubing, PVC pipe, valves & fittings.
- Safely operate boom lifts, scissor lifts and forklifts.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose equipment failures, and identify root cause for mechanical, systems.
- Read and understand operating & maintenance manuals and work instructions.
- Respond to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
- Perform monthly safety & security reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Able to work on site: Fulltime Daylight shift 6:00am-4:30pm M-F
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Mechanical knowledge with skills in welding, troubleshooting machinery, and performing repairs.
- Good organizational skills, initiative-taker, and a team player.
- Able to manage the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least fifty pounds.
- Punctual, dependable, and reliable.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
