We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our food manufacturing maintenance team and help keep operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably. What You’ll Do
- Lead and support maintenance operations, ensuring equipment runs efficiently and reliably
- Manage plant projects from concept to completion—on time and within budget
- Oversee equipment installation, testing, and production start-ups
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis (breakdowns, PMs, costs)
- Partner with suppliers, engineering, and production teams to optimize performance
- Support capital projects, including feasibility and implementation (RCA process)
- Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and quality standards (FSSC, GMPs)
- Coach, develop, and lead maintenance technicians to build a strong, accountable team
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and performance management for your team
- Foster strong communication across shifts and departments
- Associate’s degree in Management or Maintenance-related field (Engineering degree preferred)
- 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing/maintenance or 5 years of progressive leadership experience
- Strong technical background: electrical, mechanical, PLCs, VFDs, welding, machining
- Experience with equipment installation, start-up, and commissioning
- Knowledge of CMMS and preventative maintenance systems
- Familiarity with food manufacturing, GMPs, HACCP, and ISO standards (preferred)
- A leadership style that builds trust, accountability, and continuous improvement
