What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Sales Coordinator position at Barentz?
The Commercial Sales Coordinator serves as the “go to” person for the US HN sales team. This position will be involved in a variety of facets of our business to help accelerate and enable sales, resolve issues, and support internal and external customers. This position will also have direct sales responsibility for a select number of distribution accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
- Responsible to know the process of setting up new customers and changing account managers when applicable
- Serve as a subject matter expert on business processes, systems, distribution network and customers.
- Other additional defined responsibilities for Sales Support Specialist.
- Serve as a liaison for key customers.
- Manage select network of select distribution accounts for optimized profitability and service levels.
- Interact and support Principal Managers as needed.
- Communicate directly with customers on an as needed basis via phone, Teams, or e-mail
- Submit customer sample orders, follow up, and provide updates as necessary to sales
- Set up and maintenance of sample line items.
- Assist in the coordination and processing of regulatory requests.
- Monthly sales reporting.
- Oversee customer rebates.
- Review of low margin sales.
- Document customer complaints and complete corrective action requests.
- Provide special reports and complete projects for management and account managers.
- Team support – intermediary for other departments.
- Support and lead by example, Barentz’ culture, values and fundamentals.
- Participate in ongoing personal development opportunities.
- Other duties and responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field preferred
- 5 years of experience in customer service, sales support or inside sales (preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, as they will be responsible for interacting with customers, suppliers, colleagues and management on a regular basis
- The ability to work in a team environment, prioritize work assignments
- Self-motivated, independent, flexible, creative, and responsible
- Strong calculation, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Must be very detail oriented and meticulous in how work is performed
- Proficient use of MicrosoftOffice products including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively throughout the organization
- Self‐motivated, high energy, and engaging level of enthusiasm and positive outlook
- Act legallyand ethically in allprofessional relationships in adherence with Barentz’ purpose, strategies, and values
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
