We’re looking for warm, experienced servers who love food and love people — and who get excited about a dining room that doubles as a community space. This is a role for someone who wants to know regulars by name, talk about the menu because they actually care about it, and help turn a Tuesday game night into the best night of someone’s week.
What You’ll Do
This position is hourly: $12-15/hr TIPS depending on experience. Full-time, part-time, and weekend/brunch schedules available.

We’re looking for warm, experienced servers who love food and love people — and who get excited about a dining room that doubles as a community space. This is a role for someone who wants to know regulars by name, talk about the menu because they actually care about it, and help turn a Tuesday game night into the best night of someone’s week.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver genuinely warm, knowledgeable service — guide guests through the menu, make recommendations, and make every table feel taken care of.
- Learn our food and drinks (beer/wine/low-APV) inside and out, including specials and guest chef menus.
- Help host our events — family dinner pop-ups, happy hours, game nights, poetry slams — from setup through last call.
- Build relationships with regulars and first-timers alike; you are the face of Dinah.
- Support the team: run food, reset tables, handle opening and closing duties, and keep the room clean and safe.
- Handle POS transactions accurately and follow all health and safety standards.
- 2 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant.
- A genuine host — you make people feel welcome without being told to.
- Curiosity about food and drink, and enthusiasm for talking about both.
- A reliable teammate with a calm head on busy nights and event nights.
- Comfort with Square POS system
- Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs; NYC Food Protection or willingness to obtain is a plus.
- Weekend and evening availability, with flexibility for events.
