Mobile Service & Sales Technician (MSST)
$24–$29 Per Hour Performance Incentive
PIRTEK Beaverton, the nation's leading provider of on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement services, is hiring TWO mechanically inclined technicians to provide mobile hydraulic hose repair throughout the Portland area. No hydraulic experience is required—we provide paid training.
When a hydraulic hose breaks, equipment stops working. You’ll drive a fully equipped PIRTEK service truck to the customer, identify the problem, build a replacement hose, and help get their equipment running again.
This is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with tools, solving mechanical problems, helping customers, and working independently in the field.
What You’ll Do
Role Compensation
You’ll primarily serve customers in Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Tualatin, Wilsonville, Sherwood, and surrounding areas.

What You’ll Do
- Respond to scheduled service calls and occasional after hours.
- Build, replace, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses.
- Work on construction equipment, trucks, machinery, agricultural equipment, and other commercial equipment.
- Provide friendly, dependable service to customers.
- Maintain your service truck, tools, parts, and inventory.
- Complete basic work orders and service records.
- Look for additional ways PIRTEK can help each customer.
- Follow company and jobsite safety procedures.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule that includes some nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Good mechanical ability and comfort working with tools.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass required background and drug screening.
- Ability to lift, bend, climb, and safely work around heavy equipment.
Role Compensation
- $24–$29 per hour, based on experience
