Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting bakery items.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Stock shelves and display cases with fresh bakery products while ensuring proper rotation of items.
- Assist in preparing baked goods as needed, following recipes and quality standards.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding ingredients, allergens, and product information.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
Qualifications
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Previous experience in a quick-service fast food restaurant or culinary environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as necessary.
