Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to meet health standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in all food preparation and service areas, including floors, counters, bathrooms and storage spaces.
- Support food service staff by bussing tables and assisting with basic food handling tasks when needed.
- Assist with light food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies or prepping ingredients under supervision.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage to keep the environment safe for everyone.
- Help prepare banquet or catering setups by cleaning serving ware and maintaining hygiene standards during events.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or hotel environments is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues across various roles.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads when necessary.
