Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Valid Colorado Teaching License, or a willingness and ability to obtain one
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Must successfully complete a background check
- Familiarity with Capturing Kids' Hearts, Eureka Squared Math, and Core Knowledge Language Arts and/or SuperKids Reading is preferred
- Trained in the Science of Reading, with the ability to demonstrate competency for READ Act compliance

Key Responsibilities
Deliver Rigorous Instruction
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction across core content areas
- Maintain high expectations for every student and ensure students are challenged to demonstrate deep understanding
- Integrate reading, writing, and academic discussion across all subject areas
- Design learning experiences that require students to explain thinking, analyze information, and apply knowledge
- Ensure student learning and mastery through data analysis of formative and summative assessment and differentiated instruction based on data
- Differentiate instruction to support a wide range of learners, including students with individualized education plans, gifted learners, English language learners, and a variety of other diverse learning needs
- Use formative and summative assessment data to guide instruction and provide targeted support
- Provide small-group instruction and interventions to accelerate academic growth
- Establish a structured, relationship-centered classroom environment where students feel known, respected, and supported
- Teach and reinforce positive behaviors, responsibility, and character
- Create routines and expectations that maximize instructional time and require high levels of student engagement
- Participate actively in grade-level teams and professional learning communities
- Collaborate with specialists, interventionists, and special education staff to support student success
- Contribute to a positive, solution-oriented staff culture focused on continuous improvement, growth, and supporting every student, every day
- Build strong relationships with families and maintain consistent communication about student progress
- Support a welcoming and inclusive school community
- Engage families as partners in their child's learning and development
- Support family engagement event, including volunteerism, parent conferences, and celebration of learning events
- Seek and implement feedback from school leaders and instructional coaches
- Participate in professional development and collaborative learning opportunities
- Reflect on instructional practice and continuously improve teaching effectiveness
