Our client is a well-established distributor, who is growing and looking for aggressive, self-starters for a Sales position. Territory offers excellent potential for establishing new Downtown Chicago accounts. Continual support is offered to ensure your success by providing training, coaching, and resources for customer orders.
Job Duties:
- Establish new Downtown Chicago accounts in the following channels: Grocery stores, restaurants, convenience stores, liquor stores, smoke shops, café / coffee shops, hotels, fitness / spa centers, high rise marketplace, schools, institutions, office buildings, vending companies
- Prospect and register new downtown Chicago customers
- Set up customers for online ordering / express delivery
- Offer top selling items and rack programs
- Ask customer for incremental space for incremental sales
- Focus on high volume foot traffic areas
- Cross merchandise items together: Beverages with snacks, snacks / liquor, cold beverage sections, candy section front of registers, end caps and high-volume areas of the store
- Use Store Activity Tracker to measure: Progress, set goals, opportunities, follow up points by account, discuss / plan promotions and new Items
Skills and Qualifications:
· Experience in servicing downtown Chicago area
