Bank & Trust is looking for a full-time Loan Assistant at our Main branch in Litchfield, IL.
Summary
As a Loan Assistant, you will play a vital role in the loan processing by ensuring accurate and efficient management of loan applications. Your core responsibilities will include processing loans in compliance with regulations and utilizing your organizational skills to maintain meticulous records. Your premium skills in mortgage servicing and financial services will enhance the customer experience, while your relevant skills in basic math and banking will ensure precise calculations and data entry.
Loan Assistant Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing loan applications by gathering necessary documentation and verifying information.
- Ensure compliance with regulations throughout the loan process.
- Prepare and send out documents for signature via DocuSign.
- Collaborate with loan officers to facilitate loan origination and underwriting tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all loan transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the loan process.
- Taking inbound inquiries from existing loan customers.
- Complete wire transfers for customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Loan Assistant Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task
- Very conscientious about their work accuracy
- Knowledge of loan origination and mortgage servicing
- Background in banking, loan processing and regulations
- Proficient organization skills
- Knowledge of Word and Excel
- Adhere to high customer service standards
