Job Responsibilities Opening Shift

• Prepare the store for opening.
• Set up product displays and merchandising.
• Serve fresh pastries including croissants, danishes, muffins, and other baked goods.
• Aggressively sample products to encourage customer purchases.
• Count and verify the cash register before opening.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and fully stocked for the day.

Mid Shift (When Scheduled)

• Focus on driving sales and increasing customer engagement.
• Continuously restock products as needed.
• Prepare and distribute samples throughout the day.
• Proactively interact with customers, answer questions, and recommend products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor.

Closing Shift

• Review daily sales performance and confirm sales goals have been achieved.
• Track and log inventory accurately.
• Close and balance the cash register.
• Clean the store thoroughly.
• Restock products and supplies.
• Store products properly.
• Prepare the store to ensure it is fully ready for the next business day.

Schedule & Hours

• Typical operating hours are 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
• We are planning to expand our hours to 5:00 AM – 8:00 PM to better serve the morning crowd.
• Shifts generally range from 4–8 hours, with no shift exceeding 12 hours in a single workday.
• Weekend and holiday availability is preferred.
