Bakery Associate – Bang Cookies (OKC)
Pay: $10/hour tip share ( Potential Raises Based on Performance)
Location: Edmond, OK (OKC metro)
Job Summary:
Bang Cookies is a rapidly growing cookie company known for bold flavors, high-quality ingredients, and an unforgettable customer experience. We’re excited to bring Bang Cookies to Oklahoma City as our first Midwest location, and we’re building our opening team to help set the tone for the brand in this new market.
We’re looking for friendly, energetic individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in great service. In this role, you’ll assist with baking and finishing cookies, preparing coffee and refreshers, operating the POS, and serving customers with a positive attitude. This position requires multitasking, attention to detail, and a strong sense of teamwork.
This is an opportunity to be part of a brand-new store opening, grow with a fast-moving company, and help shape the Bang Cookies experience in Edmond and the greater Oklahoma City area.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with cookie selections, answer questions about flavors and ingredients, and create a welcoming in-store experience
- Cashier Duties: Accurately process transactions using the POS system, handle cash and card payments, and maintain proper cash handling procedures
- Baking & Beverage Prep: Bake cookies throughout the day to ensure freshness and quality; prepare and serve coffee and refresher beverages
- Product Presentation: Stock and display cookies in the counter case to ensure an attractive, clean, and well-organized presentation
- Inventory Support: Monitor ingredient, packaging, and beverage stock levels and communicate restocking needs to management
- Cleanliness & Food Safety: Maintain a clean workspace, equipment, and service areas while following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to keep operations running smoothly and assist with additional tasks as needed
